I came back to Southeast Texas because I wanted to take care of the same community I grew up in — not just practice dentistry somewhere new.

After finishing his DDS, Dr. Edgerly chose to return home rather than build a career somewhere unfamiliar. He earned his degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2017, following a Bachelor of Science with honors from Lamar University in 2013 — where he still serves on the Alumni Advisory Board and mentors students headed toward dental school.

His practice covers a wide range of care: endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, Invisalign, fillings, implant restorations, and cosmetic dentistry, so most patients can be treated without being sent elsewhere. He has a particular interest in patients with dental anxiety, building a calm, unhurried atmosphere and offering laughing gas or additional sedation when it helps.

Outside the office, he’s usually fishing or duck hunting somewhere along the Texas coast, or at home with his wife and two children. He continues the practice’s long-standing tradition of providing expert dental care with a hometown touch.
